Drupal 7 introduced a new default administrative theme — Seven — which has been hailed as a very clean and readable replacement for the venerable Garland. But there are alternatives, including Rubik. Created by Frank Febbraro, Rubik utilizes Tao as its base theme. Compared to Seven, Rubik displays more content above the fold, primarily because it: uses smaller font sizes and much smaller thumbnail images, places form submission buttons in a sidebar, and hides Drupal's field descriptions until the fieldset receives mouse hover. Admin pages are jazzed up with icons provided by Drupal core.

Rubik was not created by
Rubik was not created by Frank Febbraro. It was created by Development Seed when they built Open Atrium.
Created by Young Hahn
Frank Febbraro has done some amazing things in Drupal and is listed as the project owner for Rubik on drupal.org, however I am pretty sure Rubik was created by Young Hahn and the Development Seed guys. Not a big deal, but in the spirit of correct attribution I think it is important to mention them, even though they did transfer ownership of this module over to Phase II.
