Larry Garfield is a Senior Architect and Community Lead at Palantir.net, a full-service web development firm based in Chicago. He is the Web Services Initiative lead for Drupal 8, which was the first to bring in 3rd party libraries to Drupal 8. He has been encouraging Drupalers to "get off the island" for years, which is how we bring more good code into Drupal.
Steve has over six years of experience developing Drupal websites for a variety of clients, with a particular focus on performing arts organizations. A graduate of Northwestern University, he also performs improvisational comedy around Chicago.

Kristof Van Tomme is a Drupal strategist and architect with a degree in bioengineering. At Pronovix, a Belgian- Hungarian company he co-founded, he has worked on a number of Drupal products.
